Erell Williams is dedicated to serving the public through storytelling and media production, with a strong advocacy for intercultural communication, community advancement, and the development of empathy. Motivated by a love for people and a desire to be a source of positive change, Erell uses written, visual, and audio creation as fulfilling outlets to achieve her goals in diverse ways.

Beyond contributing to over five senior thesis film projects at Penn State, Erell has gained hands-on experience as a boom operator on a feature film, a production assistant on a waterpark commercial, and a parabolic sound operator for ESPN. She also had the opportunity to intern at WPSU, where she was recently honored with a PAB Excellence in Broadcasting Award for her contributions to digital media coverage of President Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign in State College.

At her core, Erell is a truth-seeker who deeply values the chance to represent someone’s reality through her work. She believes there is nothing more meaningful than another person’s life and story. The core crew of this documentary was her primary motivation for joining the project. There is nothing more rewarding than collaborating with passionate creators who strive for excellence, and every person on this team knows how to “make it happen.” Erell has great respect for the minds and spirit behind this film and is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to support them with her skill set. Working on this documentary is an honor for her.
